At first sight it looks like the Galaxy S23 Ultra because you can see the same blocky rectangular design is present with a quarter of rear cameras embedded into the phone’s chassis. Diplay Performance
Samsung’s display is the best display in mobile phones world. Every time we have to face about display is turning into mirror during using in direct sunlight. Reflections bounce right off the glass, and we can’t see anything whatever we try to look at, it is suddenly invisible. The Galaxy S24 Ultra takes an extra step and introduces a new anti-glare coating that does a fantastic job of reducing those reflections down. The display on the Galaxy S24 Ultra is huge, bright and colorful, especially using the vivid color tone option. It uses 172.5mm(6.8” full rectangle)/172.2mm(6.8” rounded corners) main display and 3120*1440(Quad HD+) Main display resolution. It also uses Dynamic AMOLED 2X with 120 Hz Max Refresh Rate. The interesting part of the display is the Extra Dim option. This feature is enough that you could check your messages in a movie theatre. There is an always-on display mode, but Samsung also still makes its unique S-view cases which provide a small window for time, weather, and notifications, peeping through a wallet cover case.
If you are an android user, you can’t find a phone with longer battery life than the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Personally I used the Galaxy S24 Ultra continuously with browsing the web on 5G until the battery runs out; it lasted 16 hours and 45 minutes with its default Adaptive display mode.
Samsung didn’t increase the size of battery but it just improved power management on the Galaxy S24 Ultra. Samsung uses Li-Ion 5000 mAh battery in Galaxy S24 Ultra. It charges with 45W which is a respectable charging speed. If you connect your charger it takes a half hour to fill up 50% and in 15 minutes, my Galaxy S24 Ultra was just under 40% charged, and it took around 45 minutes to charge the phone completely. This is faster than Samsung promises. You can charge your phone wirelessly.
Camera and Image Quality : Samsung Galaxy AI Phones
Let’s talk about the Galaxy S24 Ultra’s 5x zoom lens. Samsung has not taken a step backwards, more a step sideways. The best zoom camera you can find in the Galaxy S24 Ultra. It’s much better than the 5x zoom you will find on the iPhone 15 Pro Max. When you want to take a picture with 10x or even 100x zoom, the Galaxy S24 Ultra provides you images with better color. If I compare between the Galaxy S24 Ultra and the iPhone 15 Pro Max at 5x zoom, the iPhone produces better images. Whenever I zoomed into 25x, the the Galaxy kept more detail and even better color than the iPhone. Low light is still an issue in S24 Ultra.
The camera setup on the Galaxy S24 Ultra is nothing short of impressive. It features a quad-camera system on the rear, comprising a 200MP primary sensor, a 12MP ultra-wide sensor, a 10MP periscope telephoto sensor with 10x optical zoom, and a 10MP telephoto sensor with 3x optical zoom.
